During the Martian’s dialogue with Dr
Blake, the acronym “OBE” is incorrectly explained as “Overtaken by Events.” In U.S. government agencies, including those within the intelligence community and the Department of Defense, the correct/official explanation for the acronym “OBE” is “Overcome Events.” Hosted by Graham Norton and starring: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). I have to say, I was lucky enough to rewatch The Bureau a couple of years ago, and honestly, it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever seen.
So far, nothing has been far from it
There is a correlation between the two series, of course, it was said that it was their “influence”, but to be honest, I did not expect such a plot. Don’t get me wrong, the series so far is great, great actors, good cinematography, but it was nothing I had not seen in the French version. It is too early to say how it will end, but for anyone who has not seen “The Bureau”, I highly recommend watching it.
You will not regret it
After Fassbender played a professional killer in David Fincher’s “The Hitman” and I saw that he was in the cast, I immediately knew that he was a great choice for the role. These series really require a certain concentration while watching them, so you can keep up with all the characters in the plot and the little details about them. You would not watch it while riding a bike on an indoor trainer.
You either love these types of series or you don’t, there’s no middle ground
Some would even consider them slow, maybe even boring, but it’s those character traits and the complex personal battles and the slow build-up of tension, in my opinion, that make them great.
