A family of ranchers in Montana face off against others who encroach on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is experienced in the rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to "forget" his Montana accent and reverts to the SoCal speaking voice he usually uses. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows on Your Radar (2018). I don’t think anyone does westerns better than Kevin Costner, and with Taylor Sheridan writing, the audience is a winner. Watch "Wind River" for an example of what Taylor Sheridan can do. Where was Cole Hauser hiding? He’s amazing. I think the daughter is a necessary ingredient, but she went too far with being a bitch. The scenery is fantastic, and being from Colorado, I can really appreciate the vast beautiful country. Do yourself a favor and stick with this series because it’s going to be a winner.
