The Penguin 2024 Full Movie Watch Netflix
In this short film, IMDb tries to answer: Where the hell was Batman?
Narrative
After the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka Penguin, decides to take over Gotham’s criminal underworld. With the exception of the Bat-Signal in the final scene of the season finale, we have never seen Robert Pattinson’s role in “Penguin”. Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of Penguin to smoke tobacco in Batman (2022), but he failed. However, in his own series, the character is depicted as an occasional tobacco user, preferring cigars.
The DC Studios logo is set in a rainy Gotham alley
The umbrella falls and the logo changes to the Warner Bros. logo. In Graham Norton, I liked: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024). Wow.
Penguin is just fantastic
Everyone knows that Colin Farrell is a great actor, but here he is not recognizable as Penguin. I would not be surprised if he is nominated for several awards for his role in this film. The biggest surprise was Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone. I was not entirely sure when I heard that she was nominated for this role.
I was wrong
She is a good actress, but I did not think that this role was for her. She is as good in this as Farrell and makes you believe that Sofia Falcone is the real rival of Penguin. I would not be surprised if she is nominated for several awards for this role. This is not a typical DC or Marvel series, it is a full-fledged gangster series.
That is how DC is done
The action of the series takes place in the underground of a partially destroyed Gotham City and is a great continuation of Matt Reeves’ Batman.
